Is the surgery procedure painful?
The treatments are usually carried out under local anaesthesia (eye drops). You will not experience any pain during the surgery.
In most cases, about 45 minutes after surgery, the anaesthesia will decrease, so you will notice a foreign body sensation and tears as a result of the operation, which is normal.
When you have arrived home, you should immediately apply the antibiotic eye drops and the caring eye drops. It is best to lie down for 2-3 hours and sleep, then the more unpleasant part is already over.
